Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Sports Floodlighting

Eighty Rd Reserve – Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Sports Floodlighting

Future Power WA was awarded the tender to supply, install, test and commission six 30m lighting towers, nineteen 2kW floodlights, six Pole Distribution Boards (to house all of the control gear for each pole), one Sports Lighting Distribution Board, a Power Bollard, and a new Site Main Switchboard.  An integral part of the system installation was the Light Pin system designed and supplied by Light Application.  Future Power worked closely with the City of Rockingham and Light Application to ensure a seamless installation and commissioning process.  Future Power also assisted in the design process and made design change recommendations which have been adopted and have resulted in maximum flexibility for lighting control.  The new Site Main Switchboard supplies the new sports floodlighting as well as the existing Reticulation Distribution Board.  Successful project completion was achieved on schedule as a result of Future Power working closely with Western Power to ensure the timely upgrade and connection of the new Consumer Mains to the new Site Main Switchboard. The project was completed on time, on budget and without incident.
