The City of Perth awarded this tender to Future Power WA in February 2015.
The project involved the installation of thirty-three aluminium street lighting poles and eighteen bollards to illuminate the public pathways on the foreshore reserve.
Future Power WA was required to demonstrate an exceptionally high standard of safety to be able to perform these works in an open public area as well as safely interact with other contractors involved with the upgrades of this foreshore development.
The work included the location and mapping of underground services so as to prevent inadvertent damage to existing infrastructure and new installations. It also required co-ordination with other electrical and civil contractors so as to ensure a cost effective outcome for the principal.
Future Power WA was highly commended by the client and the consultant for providing a seamless process of design, procurement, installation, commissioning and ongoing support for a unique and public project.
